Sinabi ni DOH Assistant Secretary Albert Domingo na simula noong nakaraang linggo nang unang lumubog ang MT Terranova sa Limay, Bataan, ay ipinag-utos ni Health Secretary Ted Herbosa na umpisahan ang pag-refresh sa health protocols sa poison management.

Pinayuhan ng health official ang mga doktor na huwag silang mag-atubiling tumawag sa poison control centers at mayroong kakausap sa kanilang toxicologist o espesyalista sa lason para magsabi kung ano kailangang ibigay sa pasyente.
