INIHAHANDA na ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sa Eastern Visayas ang kanilang stocks ng Family Food Packs (FFPS) sa loob ng Regional Resource Operation Center at animnapung iba pang warehouses para sa tag-ulan.
Ayon kay Marie Nelle Lumagsao, DSWD Disaster Response Management Division Information Officer, mahigit 50,000 FFPs mula sa DSWD Main Office ang darating sa Hunyo para ipandagdag sa stocks ng rehiyon bago pa man magsimula ang pagtama ng La Niña Phenomenon.
