BINOMBA ng tubig saka binangga ng China Coast Guard (CCG) Ship ang isang barko ng Pilipinas sa katubigan ng Pag-asa Island.
Ayon kay Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Spokesperson for the West Philippine Sea, Commodore Jay Tarriela, tatlong barko ng Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), kabilang ang BRP Datu Pabuaya, ang ligtas na naka-angkora sa Pag-asa Island para magbigay ng proteksyon sa mga Pilipinong mangingisda, bilang bahagi ng “Kadiwa para sa Bagong Mangingisda” (KBBM), kahapon ng umaga.
