HINIMOK ng Department of Health (DOH) Eastern Visayas ang Local Government Units (LGUs) na mag-apply para sa pondo upang makapagpatayo ng sarili nilang super health centers, na upgraded version ng rural health units na nag-aalok ng karagdagang medical services at equipment.
Ayon kay Engr. Narcissa Zeta ng DOH-8 Health Facility Enhancement Program, layunin ng super health centers na palawakin ang healthcare access, partikular sa mga lugar na hindi gaanong nase-serbisyuhan.
