Remittances, pumalo sa Seven-Month High noong Hulyo

LUMOBO  sa ikatlong sunod na buwan ang remittances mula sa Overseas Filipinos noong Hulyo at naitala sa pinakamataas nitong lebel sa loob ng pitong  buwan, batay sa inilabas na datos ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

Naitala ang cash remittances o perang ipinadala sa pamamagitan  ng  mga  bangko o formal channels sa 3.085 billion dollars noong ika-pitong buwan sa 3.085 billion dollars, mas mataas  ng 3.1 percent mula sa 2.992 billion noong July 2023.

Pinakamataas din ito mula nang maitala ang 3.280 billion dollars noong December 2023.

Sinabi ng BSP na ang pagtaas ng personal remittances noong Hulyo ay bunsod ng nadagdagang padala mula sa land-based workers na mayroong kontrata na mahigit isang taon at sea-and-land-based workers na may kontrata na may kontrata na mas maiksi sa isang taon.
