Tinukoy ng non-profit organization ang innovation at uniqueness ng security features ng FPPBS, gaya ng Dynamic Value Panel, na nababago ang visual effects depende sa anggulo ng ilaw, maging ang transparent windows, at shadow threads.
Pinuri rin ng IACA ang aesthetic appeal at overall design ng series, na inilarawan bilang “captivating and culturally significant.”
Kabilang sa finalists sa award ang Bank of Jamaica New Series at Saka Style Kazakhstani Banknote Series.
Ang First Philippine Polymer Banknote Series ay inilunsad ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas noong nakaraang Disyembre.
