Binisita ni Mayor Raymund “Monmon” Uy ang lugar kung saan pinagtatanggal ang mga bahay sa Barangay Aguit-itan, na matatagpuan sa likod ng Calbayog City Hall.

Ang pag-aalis sa mga bahay ay bahagi ng isinasagawang konstruksyon ng kalsada, partikular ang extension ng Pajarito Street, sa ilalim ng Phase 3 ng Calbayog Development Project.

Layunin ng naturang proyekto na paluwagin ang daloy ng trapiko at padaliin ang accessibility sa lugar.

Nasa limampu’t isang pamilya na naapektuhan ng proyekto ang ni-relocate sa isang resettlement site sa Barangay Trinidad noong Agosto, at tumanggap ng suportang pinansyal.
