AABOT sa halos P13 million na halaga ng ilegal na droga ang nakumpiska ng mga tauhan gn Bureau of Customs (BOC) mula sa mga parcel sa Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) sa Pasay City.
Ayon sa BOC, isinailalim sa inspeksyon ang mga parcels sa pakikipagtulungan sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) at NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-IADITG) at natuklasang naglalaman ang mga ito ng high-grade marijuana ecstasy tablets na may kabuuang P12,996,700 ang halaga.
Ang mga parcel, ay nanggaling sa iba’t ibang mga bansa at naka-address sa magkakaibang recipient sa Pilipinas.
Sa isinagawang routine inspection sinabi ng BOC na ang mga parcel ay naglalaman ng 7,791 grams ng kush at 1,229 na piraso ng ecstasy tablets.
