Uumpisahan na ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) at ng National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) ang roll out ng unified ID system sa ilang pilot local government units (LGUs) sa Oktubre.
Ayon kay Asst. Secretary for Information and Communications Technology and Chief Information Officer (CIO) Johannes Paulus Acuña, layunin ng paggamit ng unified ID system na masawata ang paglaganap ng pekeng PWD IDs.
