HINILING ng Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) sa Supreme Court na ibasura ang petisyon na pumipigil sa paglipat ng hindi nagamit na 89.9 Billion Pesos na subsidiya ng gobyerno sa Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PHILHEALTH) pabalik sa National Treasury.
Sa walumpu’t siyam na pahinang komento na inihain ni Solicitor General Menardo Guevarra, binigyang diin nito na constitutional ang DOF Circular at 2024 General Appropriations Act, dahil ang mga probisyon nito ay hindi labag sa right to health ng mga Pilipino.
Sa 89.9 Billion Pesos, nakapag-remit na ang Philhealth ng 20 Billion Pesos sa treasury noong mayo at 10 Billion Pesos noong nakaraang buwan.
