Kabilang sa mga tinalakay ng binuong task force ay ang mga usapin sa Natural Disasters, Heat Exhaustion, Anxiety Attack, Accidents at Snake bites.
Inilatag din sa naturang pagtitipon na nilahukan ng ibat-ibang sektor ng lipunan ang mga isyu at concerns hinggil sa suplay ng tubig at handwashing facilities, at mga palikuran; fire emergencies, earthquake, at ang seguridad at kaligtasan ng mga mag-aaral at school staff.
Binuo ang OBE-IATF sa bisa ng DepEd Order 009, series of 2024 o “ Implementing Guidelines on School Calendar and Activities for School Year 2024-2025”, ito ay alinsunod sa Republic Act 7797 na nag-sasaad na ang pasukan sa School Year 2024-2025 ay dapat magsimula sa araw ng Lunes, July 29, 2024 at magtatapos ng Martes ng April 15, 2025.
