ILOILO CITY – Senatorial candidate and Makati mayor Abby Binay today said removing taxes on overtime pay and other bonuses will bring economic relief for workers.
“Kapag meron pong mas malaking take home pay para sa ating mga manggagawa, that increases their money,” Mayor Abby said in a press conference in Iloilo City.
The mayor also said that the extra take home pay will help stimulate the economy.
“More money for them to spend, which is what we need for our economy,” she added.
Removing taxes on overtime pay and other bonuses, free maintenance medicines and better education are the three priority programs of Mayor Binay.
The mayor is in Iloilo for the proclamation rally of the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas.
