INILUNSAD ng tanggapan ni Calbayog City Vice Mayor Rex Daguman ang Bridging Academic Gap o BAG Program sa layuning maibsan ang alalahanin ng mga magulang para sa gastusin ng mga kailangan sa eskuwela ng kanilang mga anak.
Sa launching ng BAG Program na ginanap sa Calbayog Convention Center, araw ng Miyerkules, July 23, 2024 ay binigyang halaga ni Daguman ang mga estudyante na papasok pa lamang sa Grade 1 na siyang makatatanggap ng libreng bag na may kasamang kuwaderno, intermediate paper, lapis, at krayola.
