Sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ng DFA na patuloy na binabantayan ang sitwasyon ng mga Pinoy sa Nepal sa pamamagitan ng embahada ng Pilipinas sa New Delhi at konsulada sa Kathmandu.

Sinabi ng DFA na sa ngayon walang napaulat na Pinoy na naapektuhan ng kaguluhan sa Nepal at bagaman mayroon nang nabuong interim government sa nasabing bansa ay patuloy na pinag-iingat ang mga Filipino Community doon.
Payo naman ng DFA, ipagpaliban na lamang muna ang lahat ng uri ng pagbiyahe patungong Nepal turista man o para magtrabaho.
