NANGAKO si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na pagbubutihin ang internet access sa Eastern Visayas, lalo na sa malalayong lugar, bilang bahagi ng hakbang ng pamahalaan na palawakin ang reliable connectivity sa rehiyon.
Sa news release ng Presidential Communications Office (PCO), inihayag ni Pangulong Marcos na nag-develop ang gobyerno ng bagong sistema na magpapalakas ng internet access sa Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDAs).
