Pahayag ito ng DTI makaraang magpahayag ng pagkabahala ang pharmaceutical at healthcare sectors sa panukala ng isang kumpanya payagang makapagbenta ng over-the-counter medicines ang msa sari-sari store.
Ayon sa pahayag ng DTI, batid ng kagawaran ang potensyal na banta nito sa kalusugan ng publiko.
Sinabi ng DTI na panukala pa lamang ito sa ngayon at wala pang pinal na pasya tungkol dito.
Siniguro din ng ahensya na hindi ito basta-basta magpapasya nang walang isinasagawang konsultasyon sa stakeholders na posibleng maapektuhan ng polisiya.
