PINAG-aaralan ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang panukala ni Tacloban City Mayor Alfred Romualdez na payagan ang 30-ton trucks na dumaan sa San Juanico Bridge sa ilalim ng controlled conditions.
Ayon sa isang DPWH regional official na tumangging magpabanggit ng pangalan, bukas sila sa mungkahi na payagan ang one-way traffic sa kahabaan ng San Juanico Bridge tuwing non-peak hours, o matapos ang alas diyes ng umaga at bago mag alas tres ng hapon, at sa hatinggabi.
