Diskriminasyon sa isang PWD sa LRT-1, ikinabahala ng NCDA

NAGPAHAYAG ng pagkabahala ang National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) sa naranasang diskriminasyon ng isang pasahero sa LRT-1 na mayroong Visual Disability.

Sa kwento ng PWD na si Julian, umupo siya sa Priority Seat sa unang coach ng LRT-1 pero sinabihan siya ng ibang pasahero na tumayo dahil hindi siya dapat pumwesto sa Priority Seat.

Kahit ipinaliwanag ni Julian na siya ay mayroong “Congenital Cataract” ay hinusgahan pa din siya ng mga kapwa pasahero.
