GINAMITAN ng isang Chinese Coast Guard (CCG) vessel na naglalayag sa Zambales ng Long Range Acoustic Device (LRAD) para i-harass ang barko ng Philippine Coast Guard.
Ayon sa PCG, ito ang unang beses na naglunsad ang CCG -3103 ng LRAD laban sa BRP Cabra na nagbabantay sa baybayin ng Zambales.

Ang LRAD ay inilarawan ng crew members bilang device na lumilikha ng mataas na decibel levels na masakit sa tenga at nakasisira ng pandinig.
Binigyang diin din ng PCG na tila ini-eskortan ang CCG-3103 ng CCG-5901 na kilala rin sa tawag na “Monster Ship.”
