Mainit na sinalubong ng Samar State University (SSU) ang pagdating ni Commission on Higher Education (CHED) chairperson, Dr. Prospero de Vera sa main campus ng unibersidad.
Sa unang araw ng kanyang campus visit, nagkaroon ito ng meet-and-greet sa promoted and hired personnel sa pamamagitan ng Revised Organizational Structure and Staffing Standards for state universities and colleges (ROSSS) at Samar Island Institute of Medicine Faculty sa SSU Convention Center.
Kasunod nito ay dumalo si de Vera sa honoring ceremony sa research and innovation center, lumahok sa press conference, at sandaling nilibot ang R-I-C.
