Pinasinayaan ang bagong Teen Center at Information Service Delivery Network o ISDN for Adolescents sa Almeria, Biliran bilang hakbang ng lokal na pamahalaan upang tugunan ang tumataas na kaso ng maagang pagbubuntis sa lugar.
Noong 2024, naitala ang mahigit 30 kaso ng adolescent pregnancy sa Almeria, mataas na bilang kung ihahambing sa kabuuang 3,571 kabataang edad 10-19, base sa 2020 Census of Population.
Matatagpuan ang Teen Center sa dating gusali ng Rural Health Unit (RHU) na muling inayos at nilagyan ng mga pasilidad para sa kabataan.
Bukod sa mga serbisyong pangkabataan, kabilang din sa bagong gusali ang pampublikong aklatan, recreational areas, computer lab, at multipurpose rooms na maaaring gamitin para sa iba’t ibang aktibidad.
Pinangunahan ni Almeria Mayor Richard Jaguros ang paglulunsad ng pasilidad, kasabay ng paglagda sa Partnership Agreement kasama ang mga ahensya at organisasyon na susuporta sa mga serbisyo ng Teen Center.
