NAIA, itu-turnover na sa private proponent sa Setyembre

TARGET ng pamahalaan na mai-turnover ang Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) sa private proponent consortium sa pangunguna ng San Miguel sa Sept. 14, 2024.

Ayon kay Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista, patuloy ang pakikipagpulong ng gobyerno sa NAIA Infra Corp. na binubuo ng San Miguel Holdings Corp., RMM Asian Logistics Inc., RLW Aviation Development Inc., at Incheon International Airport Corp.

Nilagdaan ng Department of Transportation ang 170.6-billion peso concession agreement sa NAIA Infra Corp. noong Marso, makaraang mag-alok ito sa pamahalaan ng pinakamataas na share ng future revenues mula sa pag-o-operate ng airport.

Nangako ang grupo ng atleast 122.3 billion pesos na capital investments para sa buong 25-year concession period, katumbas ng 4.89 billion pesos kada taon.
