NAGSASAGAWA ng assessment ang Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Eastern Visayas kaugnay ng Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated Fishing (IUUF) sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng rehiyon para palakasin ang pamamahala sa pangisdaan.
Ang assessment sa major fishing grounds sa rehiyon ay isinagawa sa pamamagitan ng IUU Fishing Index and Threat Assessment Tool (IFIT), na dinivelop ng United States Agency for International Development.
