SA kabila ng naka-aalarmang paglobo ng kaso ng chikungunya sa munisipalidad ng Gandara, dahilan para isailalim ang dalawang barangay sa code red, iniulat ng Calbayog City Health Office (CHO) na walang naitalang anumang kaso ng mosquito-borne diseases sa lungsod.
Ayon kay Ricardo Delgado III, Surveillance Nurse sa CHO, mahigpit na binabantayan ng kanilang opisina ang sitwasyon.
