Pormal nang binuksan ngayong araw, July 18 ang second runway ng Mactan-Cebu International Airport.

Matagumpay na naisagawa ang unang landing at unang takeoff sa bagong bukas na runway ng paliparan kung saan ang flight ng JejuAir na papuntang South Korea ang unang lumapag sa runway at flight naman ng CebGo patungong Cagyaan de Oro ang unang nag-takeoff.
