Ang naturang inisyatibo, sa pagtutulungan ng BFAR Regional Offices sa Eastern Visayas at Central Visayas, ay pakikinabangan ng nasa isanlibong magsasaka malapit sa Danajon Bank, na tanging double barrier reef sa bansa.

Sinabi ni BFAR Eastern Visayas Regional Information Officer Christine Gresola, na iba’t ibang interventions ang inilatag para maibalik ang production level na naitala noong 2020.
Sa naturang taon, nakapag-ani ang mga magsasaka sa Danajon ng 17,731 metric tons ng seaweed subalit bumagsak ang output sa 11,877 metric tons noong 2021.
