Hinikayat ng Philippine Statistics Authority ang mga mamamayan na i-access ang digital copy ng kanilang National ID para magamit nila sa iba’t ibang mga transaksyon.
Ayon sa PSA, ang Digital National ID ay maaaring ma-download sa eGovPH app sa smartphone at pwedeng gamitin bilang valid at sapat na proof of identity sa mga transaksyon sa gobyerno at mga pribadong institusyon.
