Halos 300 senior high student sa Leyte, na-hire on the spot sa job fairs

HALOS 300 graduating senior high school students sa Leyte provinces ang na-hire on the spot sa job fairs na inilaan para sa Grade 12 completers, ayon sa Regional Office ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

Halos 700 na aplikante ang dumagsa sa Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair na ginanap sa Baybay City at Hinunangan, Southern Leyte, na isinagawa sa pakikipagtulungan ng Department of Education (DepEd).

Ayon kay DOLE 8 (Eastern Visayas) Information Officer Norma Mae Costimiano, ito ang unang specialized job fair para sa senior high school learners, na ang layunin ay ihanda ang job seekers sa pagbibigay ng libreng pre-employment documents, skills support, at direct access sa hiring institutions.

Sinabi ni Costimiano na sa Hinunangan, mahigit 400 job seekers ang nagparehistro, na may nasa 20 ang na-hire on the spot, at karamihan ay local employment, gaya sa sales and retail.
