ANG dalawang araw na pagbisita sa Pilipinas ni Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida ay inaasahang magbibigay-daan sa lalo pang pagtutulungan ng dalawang bansa.
Ito ang inihayag ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez kaugnay sa gaganaping joint session ng Kongreso sa November 4 sa nakatakdang pagdalaw ni Kishida at maybahay na si Yuko kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ay magsisilbing isang mahalagang yugto sa malakas na diplomatikong alyansa ng gobyerno ng Pilipinas at Japan.
“We are optimistic that through our discussions, new pathways for collaboration and development will emerge, promising enhanced opportunities and a brighter future for all Filipinos, here and in Japan,” ayon kay Romualdez.
“We warmly welcome His Excellency Kishida Fumio, Prime Minister of Japan, on his significant official visit to our country on November 3 and 4 this year.
It is with great anticipation that we look forward to his address to the Congress of the Republic of the Philippines in a Special Joint Session on November 4, at 11:00 in the morning,” saad pa ng lider ng Kamara.
Inaasahan ni Speaker Romualdez na mapag-uusapan sa pagbisita ang maraming mahahalagang paksa na lalo pang magpapalakas sa alyansa ng dalawang bansa.
Bukod sa pagpapalakas ng alyansa ng dalawang bansa, sinabi ni Speaker Romualdez na ang pagbisita ni Kishida ay makatutulong din sa pandaigdigang kapayapaan at pag-unlad.
“This visit, symbolizing the deep and longstanding bond our nations have forged, built on mutual respect, shared values, and a unified vision for peace, stability, and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region, signifies the strength of our bilateral ties,” giit ni Speaker Romualdez.
“On behalf of the Filipino people, I extend our heartfelt appreciation to Prime Minister Kishida and wish him a successful and impactful visit to our shores,” dagdag pa ni Speaker Romualdez.
