MAS mababa ang naitalang insidente ng scams ngayong Holiday Season ayon sa Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center.
Ayon kay CICC Executive Director Renato Paraiso, ngayong panahon ng kapaskuhan karaniwang dumarami ang insidente ng scams, pero bumaba ito ngayong taon dahil sa pagtaas ng bilang ng mga naaarestong scammers.

Kapag ganitong Holiday Season, sinabi ni Paraiso na laganap ang online shopping scam at ang mga delivery scams.
Tumaataas din aniya ang insidente ng travel scams at yung mga love scams ngayong kapaskuhan.
Pinaalalahanan ni Paraiso ang mga namimili online na maging maingat at huwag basta-basta magbabahagi ng kanilang personal na impormasyon.
Aktibo ang Threat Monitoring Center ng CICC para mabantayan ang mga insidente ng scam.
Kung sakaling mabibiktima, maaaring mag-report sa CICC hotline na 1326.
