NAGSASAGAWA ang Department of Education (DepEd) ng Psychological First Aid (PFA) sessions para sa mga teachers at learners upang tulungang maibalik ang pakiramdam ng kaligtasan, pagiging kalmado, at pag-asa kasunod ng pamamaril sa San Jose High School sa Tacloban City noong Lunes.
Nagsimula ang tatlong araw na PFA intervention noong Miyerkules, kung saan nagsama-sama ang school personnel at mga mag-aaral na naapektuhan ng malagim na insidente na pumatay ng tatlong estudyante at sumugat ng dalawampung iba pa.

Ayon kay DepEd Tacloban Schools Division Senior Guidance Coordinator Julienne Rosa Saballa, nabigyan ng PFA sessions ang 110 teaching and non-teaching personnel, 352 students na direktang nakasaksi sa pamamaril, at nasa 1,300 na iba pang mga estudyante na nasa campus noong mangyari ang insidente.
