NANAWAGAN ang 8th Infantry Division (8ID) ng Philippine Army sa mga natitirang miyembro ng New People’s Army (NPA) na magnilay-nilay ngayong mahal na araw at ikonsiderang talikuran na ang armadong pakikibaka kapalit ng kapayapaan.
Sa statement, sinabi ng 8ID na ang landas ng armadong pakikibaka ay nauuwi sa pagkakabukod at pagkaligaw, habang ang pagpili sa kapayapaan ay lumilikha ng oportunidad para sa pagkakasundo, katatagan at mas makabuluhang hinaharap.
