ISINAILALIM ng Office of the Ombudsman si Marikina City Mayor Marcelino “Marcy” Teodoro at iba pang mga opisyal ng lungsod sa preventive suspension without pay sa loob ng anim na buwan dahil sa umano’y maling paggamit ng public funds.

Nag-ugat ang suspensyon mula sa reklamo ng isang residente ng Marikina na si Sofronio Dulay, kung saan inakusahan nito si Teodoro at iba pang mga opisyal ng lungsod na ginamit ang pondo ng PhilHealth para sa non-health purposes.
