KABUUANG 11,334 public school teachers sa Eastern Visayas na magsisilbi bilang Electoral Board (EB) members ang sinertipikahan ng Department of Science and Technology (DOST) para makapag-operate ng Automated Counting Machines (ACMs) sa may 12 midterm elections.
Dumalo ang EB members sa trainings na isinagawa ng COMELEC, DOST, at ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
Naipasa rin ng mga guro ang mga ibinigay na pagsusulit.
Mula sa 11,334 members na inatasang mamahala sa voting precincts, 4,515 ay mula sa Leyte, 392 mula sa Biliran, 1,200 mula sa Southern Leyte, 2,348 mula sa Samar, 1,386 mula sa Eastern Samar, at 1,494 mula sa Northern Samar.
