How to Install IR App

We are thrilled to announce that Infinite Radio Calbayog (www.ircalbayog.com) is now available as a Progressive Web App (PWA)! This means a faster, more reliable, and app-like experience for all our listeners.

What is a PWA?

A Progressive Web App (PWA) is a website that functions like a mobile app. It combines the best of both worlds: the accessibility of a website and the convenience of an app. PWAs are designed to be fast, work offline, and offer a seamless user experience.

  • Faster Loading: Enjoy a quicker and smoother experience when accessing Infinite Radio Calbayog.
  • App-Like Experience: No need to download from an app store—simply install it from the browser!
  • Works Offline: You can still access certain features even without an internet connection.
  • Less Storage Space: PWAs take up minimal space compared to traditional mobile apps.

How to Install the PWA

Installing the Infinite Radio Calbayog PWA is simple and takes just a few seconds:

For Android Users:

  1. Open Google Chrome and visit www.ircalbayog.com.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
  3. Select “Add to Home Screen” and confirm.

  4. The app will now appear on your home screen like a regular app!

For iPhone (iOS) Users:

  1. Open Safari and visit www.ircalbayog.com.
  2. Tap the Share share button (square with an upward arrow).
  3. Select “Add to Home Screen.”
  4. Name it as you prefer and tap “Add.”
  5. The PWA is now accessible from your home screen!

For Desktop Users (Windows/Mac):

  1. Open Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge and go to www.ircalbayog.com.
  2. Look for the install icon install (a small computer with a down arrow) in the address bar.
  3. Click “Install” and follow the prompts.
