Inihayag ni AMLC Executive Director Matthew David na bilang bahagi ng kanilang mandato ay iniimbestigahan nila ang Financial Transactions ng mga sangkot sa iregularidad, katuwang ang iba pang government at Law Enforcement Agencies.
Sinabi ni David na mahigpit silang nakikipag-ugnayan sa Office of the Ombudsman, Bureau of Internal Revenue, at National Bureau of Investigation, upang matiyak ang komprehensibong Financial Investigation.
Inihayag din ng AMLC chief na maaring i-freeze ang assests ng mga kontratista na sangkot sa maanomalyang Flood Control Projects, alinsunod sa Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA).
