MAGTATATAG ang Department of Science and Technology (DOST) ng isang training center sa Eastern Visayas para palakasin ang pagtuturo ng Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects at mapagbuti ang performance ng mga estudyante sa DOST scholarship qualifying examinations.
Ilalagay ang center sa Philippine Science High School (PSHS) campus sa Palo, Leyte, at magbibigay ng training sa STEM teachers sa buong rehiyon.
