PINAKAKASUHAN ng murder ng PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) sa Department of Justice (DOJ) si dating Leyte Rep. Vicente Veloso III at lima umano nitong mga kasabwat sa pagpaslang sa isang barangay councilor noong 2016.
Nagpadala ng sulat ni Police Lt. Col. Jessie Misal, Deputy Chief ng Major Crimes Investigation Unit ng CIDG, kay Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla, upang hilingin sa DOJ na gumawa ng kaukulang aksyon laban kay Veloso at sa iba pang respondents sa pagpatay kay Anthony Nuñez.
