Ayon sa crew ng barko, umalis sila sa Navotas Fish Port Pier 1 at patungo sana sa Cuyo, Palawan para kumuha ng mga isda nang makaranas sila ng malakas na alon malapit sa Fortune Island dahilan para magdeklara ng abandon ship ang master ng barko.
