Simula sa November 18 hanggang December 25, 2024 ay ipatutupad ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) ang adjusted operating hours sa mga mall sa Metro Manila.
Layunin nitong mabawasan ang pagsisikip sa daloy ng traffic dahil sa holiday rush.
Ayon sa MMDA, sa ilalim ng Memorandum Circular No. 15 Series of 2024, napagkasunduan na i-adjust sa alas-11 ng umaga ang pagbubukas ng mall habang palalawigin ang oras ng kanilang operasyon hanggang alas-11 ng gabi.
Pinagsusumite rin ang mga shopping mall operators ng traffic management plan dalawang linggo bago ipatupad ang kanilang mall sale at promotional events.
