MAGTATAYO ng modernong warehouses sa Leyte at Eastern Samar ngayong taon para masuportahan ang National Buffer Stocking Program, gayundin ang mga lokal na magsasaka sa pamamagitan ng Post-Harvest Mechanisms.
Ayon kay National Food Authority (NFA) Acting Deputy Administrator John Robert Hermano, bawat warehouse sa Alangalang sa Leyte at Oras sa Eastern Samar ay nagkakahalaga ng 550 million pesos at mayroong dryers, millers, at post-harvest facilities.

Sinabi ni Hermano na ang warehouse ay mayroong drying capacity na 270,000 bags at milliong capacity na 400,000 bags kada taon.
Pinangunahan ng opisyal ang groundbreaking ceremony ng modern warehouse sa Alangalang noong Biyernes, na una nang ginawa sa Oras noong nakaraang buwan.
