Ito ay para mabigyan ng work-life balance ang mga guro at matiyak na sila ay magkakaroon ng sapat na pahinga para makapag-recharge nang iniintindi na school requirements.

Sa ilalim ng guidelines ng DepEd ang mga guro ay papayagan na mag-schedule ng kanilang 30-day uninterrupted break sa pagitan ng April 16 hanggang June 1, 2025.
Ang 30-day break ay maaaring tuluy-tuloy o putol-putol.
Sakop din ng nasabing kautusan ang mga guro sa Alternative Learning System (ALS) at ang mga nagtuturo sa Arabic Language and Islamic Values Education (ALIVE) classes.
