Sinabi ng opisyal na sa halip na Korean company ay ang subsidiary ng SAMELCO na S1 Energy ang magtatayo ng 3-megawatt solar project. Magiging dagdag aniya ito sa kasalukuyang 1-megawatt solar power na pinakikinabangan na ng consumers.
Magandang balita, may alok na solar roof installation ang SAMELCO 1 sa bawat household, lalo na ang may mataas na konsumo para maibsan ang kanilang konsumo sa kuryente. Saklaw din nito ang government offices.
