DPWH, humahanap ng pondo para sa ‘Grand Canal’ sa Tacloban matapos hindi paglaanan ngayong 2026

HUMAHANAP ang Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ng pondo para sa 3.26-billion peso Tacloban-Palo Diversion Road sa 2027.

Sinabi ni DPWH Eastern Visayas Regional Director Edgar Tabacon na positibo silang mapopondohan ang proyekto sa susunod na taon.

ALSO READ:

Layunin ng proyekto na maibsan ang traffic congestion at pagbaha sa Tacloban City at sa kalapit na bayan ng Palo.

Inihayag ni Tabacon na bagaman walang funding ngayong 2026, mayroon pa rin silang ongoing activities sa ilalim ng 2025 budget.
