IBINABA pa ng Department of Agriculture ang presyo ng iba’t ibang klase ng bigas na ibinibenta sa ilalim ng kanilang Kadiwa ng Pangulo Rice-For-All (RFA) initiatives, gayundin ang maximum suggested retail price sa imported rice.
Sinabi ni Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. na simula ngayong araw, mababawasan pa ang presyo ng mga bigas sa ilalim ng RFA, na repleksyon ng pagbagsak ng global rice prices at pagtaas ng domestic supply.
