NAKIKIPAG-ugnayan ang Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) sa tatlong Economic Zone (Ecozone) Developers para sa pagtatayo ng Pharmaceutical Industrial Parks sa Bulacan at Laguna.
Sinabi ni PEZA Director General Tereso Panga na umaasa silang maro-roll out ang bagong uri ng Ecozone ngayong taon sa pamamagitan ng First Bulacan Industrial Park, na adjacent sa umiiral na First Bulacan Industrial City.
Sa ilalim ng Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028, inatasan ang PEZA na pabilisin ang development ng mga bagong uri ng Ecozone, kabilang na ang Pharma Industrial Parks.
Inihayag ni Panga na nakikipag ugnayan sila sa Department of Health, Food and Drug Administration, Department of Trade and Industry at Philippine Chamber of Pharmaceutical Industries (PCPI), para sa bubuuing guidelines sa registration ng Pharma Zones sa ilalim ng PEZA.
